Durham was down inside the 5yd line. Of course taking a knee was the right call, for many reasons.... but which past LSU HC would you say, would have said F that and went for the TD?

Probably not Les because I recall him taking a knew once with over 5mins left in a game. I could CEO doing that if it was a bama game.

Yeah bro they should’ve took a chance on a fumble return for a touchdown up only 10 or score put the defense back out there so someone could possibly have a season ending injury from trying to stop Florida in a already decided game .. like Bk said you’re spoiled !

All gas and no brakes when playing Florida. Remember when Spurrier would be up 40 and still sling it around?

Any coach who would have went for it there has no business coaching a top 25 program.

If we lose another lineman scoring a useless touchdown or any starter for that matter…you’ll never live it down

Yeah. With NIL, depth is an issue for most teams now. Can’t have the luxury of being loaded 2-3 guys deep. The game has changed.

After they shoved the center into the qb risking injury to them I would have spiked the ball to kill the clock and kicked a field goal.

Maybe Dinardo given how much Spurrier embarrassed LSU for the better part of a decade. I don't think any other HC would have done anything but take a knee

frick that…I would have run over some bitches on the final play and scored another touchdown. Time left I would have gone for two.

Or you're nuts and looking for conflict. He wrote that taking the knee was the right call, then he asked a hypothetical question. You are arguing with air.

No shot. Victory formation and kill the clock was 100% the right play. Now I still don't get how Durham with how fast he is gets tracked down this often on his long runs. I really was expecting that to be a house call. I would have loved a score there on Durham's run but would never support going for the touchdown there with the potential that a turnover might happen or a player might get hurt. I.e Matt Mauck 2002 vs Florida.
