She's actually a legit science journalist. I read her book "The Coming Plague: Newly Emerging Diseases in a World Out of Balance" and I think that was the one she won the Pulitzer for. Just shows you how the woke mind virus works.

I did that too. Read it in the mid 90s and kept it. Re-read it a couple of years ago and finally donated it to our Catholic charity used book store. Really excellent book.
