That type of music isn’t usually my cup of tea, but my goodness are they a great band. I am most definitely a fan now. And that venue is breathtaking.

I have a relatively short musical bucket list. Red Rocks is on it, and hopefully me and the right band will meet there sooner than later.

sometimes the hysteria over a red rocks date can make the experience a little less pleasant. For example…the big name jam band shows can have a weird energy as so many people are competing for position. The most enjoyable shows I’ve seen there have been lower profile.

OP picked a good one I bet that was fun and not so hectic. Sturgill is tonite and tomorrow night but those shows sold out instantly

Rat Webster, was their original producer/ engineer. I can't believe they got past that.

Got picked for the Axs purchase lottery and had tix for tonight but couldn't make it work schedule wise. We're aiming to see a show next year. Resale tix are currently near face for today's show ($88).

We hiked all over the venue and overheard Tedeschi Trucks soundcheck in 2022 but had to fly out that night. Can't wait to see an actual show.

Yep, the smaller venues are much easier that is why I like the Fillmore / Saenger etc. I will probably go to Red Rocks next time JRAD or a similar band plays there not to have to fight the sold out /SRO vibe you mentioned.

Speaking of Sold Out...I need a Fri and Sat ticket for Billy in Huntsville as its sold out and I only have a Thu ticket at this point.!!!

Got it. I've had 3 sellers pop up so far and I missed all three...just a tad late.

I'm going and I'll figure it out, I've given away miracles for Billy before so...maybe.....

We saw them open for Whiskey Myers at the Gulf Coast Collesium in Biloxi last year. They were pretty good.

Saw Whiskey Myers another time at Red Rocks and that was phenomenal as well.

Some other band played there the following week and there was a hail storm which would suck but we had great weather and enjoyed the hell out of it.
