PSA: That influencer who had body guards following him around campus Saturday

His online name is IShowSpeed.
Anyway, this kid has an enormous global following largely due to his soccer interests. He just live streams himself traveling around the world and no matter where he goes, he basically attracts a mob-like following. The fact that he was on our campus yesterday for big SEC game was a huge marketing win for LSU on an international scale. It put us in front of a lot of young, impressionable eyes.
I guess Leonard Fournette was in charge of giving him a tour of the football facilities and tailgates around campus all day, along with Kevin Gates and Flau'jae Johnson. He was on the field pre-game and sat in a SEZ suite during the game.

It was a 12 hour stream so obviously nobody is going to watch the whole thing but it's there so you can fast forward to any point in the video that might be interesting. They rolled out the red carpet and then some for this kid.

Idk man but it's a just cyclical thing. Pop culture worldwide has always been run by the youth and this is what the (literal) youth is into nowadays.

This scumbag got in a random baby in a stroller face and said” say hi and your gay” a few times then screamed in the baby’s face and made me cry , then got his security to stop the father from doing anything, yeah he is def someone you want to associate with . Great job

Passed us on stadium drive in golf carts, so many people with them that half of the security was running beside the carts.
They had a ton of people chasing after them.. I didn’t know it was him, Fournette, and Kevin gates until after the game.

I was sitting in traffic on the way in at this point. There must have been 30 people chasing the cart when they passed me.

I don’t get it at all, but I guess it’s a big deal that he came to LSU. Doesn’t mean he should have free rein to do whatever he wants, go in student section, etc.
