In my opinion, LSU should commit to the "Air Raid" offense.

They're entire offensive lineup/personnel is built for it. For a team without an identity, what in the world do they have to lose?

Nuss is at his best when in a rhythm and slinging it all over the yard. The OL is apparently better at pass blocking than run blocking. The skill guys? No explanation needed.

LSU is built to throw it all over the place and instead they try to play in a phone booth. I don't get it.

They’re trying to force balance with the run game but a majority of our passes have been under ten yards. What this does is keeps their safeties closer to the line of scrimmage making it harder to run the ball effectively. It’s kind of like tripping over your dick after shooting your dick and then falling on your dick.

We spent a lot of money on recievers.

We need to pass to open up our run. Barion Brown and Aaron Anderson should have 10 balls thrown their way a game. Nic Anderson needs more touches too.

IMO LSU is coaching super conservative because of how great the defense is playing

It feels like what LSU is doing on offense this year would be like Jelani Watkins going to Dennis Shaver and saying, "I want do the hammer throw and shotput."

Coach Shaver would be like, "WTF bro? No. You're a sprinter. That's where you'll have success. Do that."

- More deep balls. Contrary to popular belief they are not necessarily slow developing plays that need time in the pocket. If you can throw slants, you can throw deep balls. I like my odds with Brown and Hilton.

- More downhill running game. Under center and pistol looks. I would love to see the stats on it, but its clearly been the most success we have had running the ball the last 2 years. I want the RBs hitting the hole way quicker.

- More motion during the snap. Almost every play should incorporate some sort of horizontal movement at the snap. When you have speed at wideout and RB like we do, its threatening what they will do with a head start. Not to mention our WR run plays have been really successful and we didnt do any against Florida.

Score more points??

Nuss is injured period.

Let’s put the kid in from Miss state as an extra running back, wildcat for short yardage etc

Sling the rock. Once you get everybody out the box then you can run draw plays and all that crap. Spread everybody out and sling it. Sloan needs a kick in the nuts.

Three deep balls in a row for one possession alternating between Brown and Hilton.

Just for fun

Ds will implement blitzes and stunts on this O line. They are young and horrible. Nuss does not have time in the pocket coupled with the fact that he is an awful scrambler. Pull the rcvrs in. Their splits are too wide. Go to a 0 step drop and get a matchup against their poorest LB and dump quick 1 second throws for 4-5 positive yards and let the talent gain YAC. Lull the safety for help by moving in and get a long ball chance 1 or 2x a game. But nuss has to find the matchup that has a beatch and pick on him. Sloan is dumb. He is trying to feature a true 3 step drop back pocket passer who can read coverage. Sorry fans, there is no time in the pocket and nuss can't read coverage. There are decoy receivers just running down field with their backs to the ball never turning around. There will be no run game. We aren't smart enough to check at the line and audible a run thru an empty gap and this o line is not picking up blitzes. Short quick dump passes and always have a safety valve near the LOS as an escape. The O is perfect storm of a lot of bad things. We have got to methodically move the chains and avoid killer penalties. 3 and 5 is doable for this team 3 & 10 is not convertible. These toss dives of tackle are dumb and a waste of a down. The D's only get harder from here. It won't be pretty.

the toss from shotgun was working more than our predictable inside zone we run every run play. Jett sweeps with zavion and more slant routes.

Not necessarily the air raid but a no huddle with short crossing routes and Slants, wheel routes and dump off with 1 maybe two deep routes. I hate when he throws off that back foot. It makes me nervous as heck!
