There have been 4 great awakenings in American history. Did the 5th just begin?

A 5th great awakening could be the antidote for:
1) gen z mental health issues
2) the rise in loneliness among gen z
3) transgenderism and other forms of political extremism filling void
4) govt dependency, if folks start relying again on private charity and fraternal societies in times of need rather than govt

There are also a lot of arguments that the 4th that you're referring to really didn't take hold
Rather, it was the third and a half and that this would be the 4th
As an evangelical, charismatic PK , my whole family is full of them
that grew up in the 70s and was a part of a Community Church in the east side of Houston, where my parents were head of households and we had hippie college students and broken people living in our house and there was a community farm ,,,, that flower power into Jesus Freak movement didn't quite translate
A lot of your liberals today who think they have the moral high ground came from that time
But a conversation on the next The Great Awakening would be interesting Let's see if this board can have it
I would argue that even today a lot of the evangelical charismatic churches are frauds So be careful of who you think the leaders are
And I am sure that Charlie Kirk would have advised the same

time will tell.. I can say this, the response to the left's sick antics over the past 2 days are being dealt with in a different manner..

All I know is that there were about double the amount of people at Church today. Almost everyone that I talked to said they were inspired by Charlie Kirk to start attending Church again.
Something is definitely happening. I think the mask the Democrat party has been wearing has been ripped off. Exposing them as the actual party of Hate and intolerance. Deus Vult

Yes that's the misstep or the three and a half that I was referring to. We were at the church The Redeemer in Houston ,, with the art wall that was saved

I can't comment that I know what you personally went through but I can tell you have a pretty good idea and I am sorry
How abused much of that was is horrifying and that's why I caution against buying too much into people who going to claim to be the Spokesperson for God in this next few years

Our government created these freaks. I grew up in the era of men being in charge of schools and whipping were an option. They brought in a liberal count around my 8th grade year and she was really ahead of her time for being a liberal. She hated masculinity. She recently just passed and as much as wrong as she was in her ideas I think she thought what she was doing what was right. Suppressing masculinity is wrong. Bullying and fighting will happen but it makes men stronger.
