It doesn't. Kellen Moore is losing me and he just got started. If rattler was seen as capable of starting, why take shough?

Well Coach said we were in “win now”mode. No time to develop a new QB when you have an experienced Rattler!

Should have just used the pick on another player while riding this season with Rattler & Haener. This roster is extremely void of talent & the selection of Shough did nothing to help correct that issue being that this roster isn't only a QB away from being competitive. It's several players away.

Rattler’s decision making sucks. Had Kamara open in the flat, he decides to force it to a covered Alave…

This is how drafting quarterbacks works. You typically draft them to sit and then put them in when they’re ready. Rattler had a better preseason and is correctly getting his chance. If he doesn’t work out, Shough will be in after a few weeks. I personally don’t think it matters who is playing quarterback. We aren’t winning a ton of games. I think Shough starts at some point regardless.

I can believe there's a lot that you can't make sense of.

Yeah you have to imagine it wasn’t that close in training camp. Otherwise you’re clearly riding with the guy you invested a relatively high pick on. You need to see what you’ve got as we will be in a position to have a very high pick in 26.

Honestly, at this point does it really matter? Shough is project. He doesn't have a play now skill set nor a history that remotely suggests early rookie starting potential so won't even come close being able to properly make any definitive judgements on him. You know as good as I do that the Shough has a high percentage of being a completely wasted pick & the early 26 is going to have to be used to select a QB.

Guys this is a team run by Mickey Loomis. It’s not gonna make sense until he’s unemployed.

It’s only gonna change when the fan base quits accepting the dogshit that’s put on the field.

Loomis has the fan base over a barrel and he knows it, ball is in our court.

Absolutely. But still have to just let it ride.

Man, it just would be so bad though with this offensive line & the inconsistency of the receivers & TE's.

What’s the alternative though? Go all year with Rattler and then pass on the qb next year giving Shough his year at 27?

Or just flush Shough unless he magically beats out the rookie next year?

Just eat the Shough selection while drafting another QB ala the Cardinals with Rosen & Murray.
