Can Notre Dame rattle off 10 in a row?

Not with this defense. Ash should see a red slip tomorrow. ND has allowed more touchdowns through 2 games this year than it did through 6 last year.

Notre Dame just clinched a playoff spot tonight. They played two ranked teams and lost. Now they have to knock over a bunch of tomato cans. I can hear the commentator now. "This Notre Dame team that man-handled Stanford is not the same team that lost its first two games."

Absolutely incredible how bad Ash has been. Part of me wants to give him a chance to gel, but on the other hand… this team should be 2-0.

I know you lost Watts (future college football HOFer) and Kiser (really good college LB) but that’s pretty much it. Virtually everyone else that contributed during the playoff run is back and a year older, and yet it’s a complete trainwreck defensively.
