I attended a Men's get together at Church last night, about 250-300 or so guys showed up. It's been planned for months, but I think it was what all of us needed after all that's been going on.

Here's a couple of notes that I came away with that hit me hard and really encouraged me. Speaker mentioned that so many men in the past 36 hours had come forward and told how they felt Charlie was speaking on their behalf, and his death left them feeling ashamed that they weren't speaking up courageously like he was out in our communities. I've felt the same. No more.

The worship songs we sung were louder than I've heard regular Church on a Sunday morning with twice the people. I really choked up halfway through when it hit me. Satan lost. They lost. I got a swell of pride and encouragement in our response.

This has a lit a sprititual fire amongst men, young and old. God reigns and persecution doesn't make us back down, it makes us bolder. They tried to silence us, but it made us louder.

Hell lost, Heaven gained another one and will gain many more because of this.

Charlie is in Paradise at this very moment. I grieve for his Wife and kids and what they are going through. But Good people are on the move, and we will shine a light through the darkness and defeat it.

Just thought I'd share

CSB

We already know how it ends.

And begins.

And it being easy was never part of the story.

Turning Point USA, Charlie's organization, is a 501c non profit. I've made a donation and hope many others will to help advance the cause and support the organization going forward.

There are links to get involved, to buy merchandise as well as donate funds to the cause.

This is the turning point. While 15% of the country will spew dark hateful comments, majority of America is coming together

I got beers last night with my small group leader. We are both Charlie’s age and this has hit hard.

It’s easy to say “we know who wins in the end” and I wholeheartedly agree Jesus will come back and reign but that’s not comforting to me right now. It’s hard to see the uprising in evil and the direction the world and America is heading. How am I suppose to raise a family and kids the right way when the other side hates me, my beliefs, and will kill me over it? I agreed with everything Charlie stood for. America will only continue to divide itself until Jesus returns.

I feel it too. I never even followed him that closely just casually but this one hurts more than any death I can remember

If anything can spark a revival of faith in America this is it

Since I moved to the area my wife grew up in 2018 we go to church regularly but I never got involved in anything else with the church. She's a member because she grew up in this church but I signed up for membership classes yesterday.

Is it?

That alone makes you the target of scorn, ridicule, and in Charlie's case worse.

This is the moment. However, it can’t be a youth camp emotional high moment. That will fade. It must be a real commitment to leading our families and leading our churches as the men God has commanded us to be. And none of this can happen unless we first commit our lives to Him. My prayer is through this tragic event, more and more men will finally step up and become Godly leaders.

I needed this . Well said and spoken. I’ve been struggling, and asking myself how can God allow this to happen to such a talented , smart, charismatic, man. We never know, what is in store for any of us, on any given day, but God has a plan for everyone and he called Charlie home for a greater cause. RIP Charlie Kirk .

The only answer is in absolute faith in the promises He provides. The hardest part of that is that the Promises do not guarantee us or those we love peace, safety or avoidance of pain in any way in this life. The Gift that the Grace He provides is in Heaven and for Eternity. So, you raise them to value their faith above everything else in this world. Teach it, Pray it, Share it with everyone you possibly can, teach them to do the same. Love, Forgive even in the moments that our human brain tell us to do anything but. Just live and act on The Word. If we know it to be the Absolute Truth, It is the only way to walk in this world. The more we do that, the more we are in touch with the Holy Spirit inside of us and the better our worldly life is because in All things, we, as you said, know the outcome.

I would also add from the worldly perspective on raising kids, protect them, at all costs, from these things that we know are Satan's greatest tools. I do not care what level of uncool it makes my kids, they absolutely WILL NOT have unfettered internet access for any reason while they are growing. They will not have easy access to music, games and other entertainment that will warp their growing minds. I am going to Sheppard them in a way that gives them a better opportunity to walk in the pastures that will allow them to grow their own faith and not grow thier minds to match this evil world. I understand how insanely hard this is going to be, but it is the most important fight of my life as the head of my household.

I get it, by no means am I just blanketing a sunshine pump over all the evil that occurs every single day and life won’t be hard as crap. I’m still shook and probably think about what happened literally every 5 minutes.

It was just really encouraging to me to see such a passionate response by a large group of men and it help me turn a lot of grief, confusion, sorrow and anger into Hope that many Good men are in this Country and I believe a spark has been lit.

My wife and I have had this conversation a lot lately. It's so easy to get lost in all of this and not see the bigger picture. It's not supposed to be about victory in this life. There is something far greater!
Charlie understood that on a level much greater than most his age. It's time to start a movement and not let these things continue to happen in vein. The KING is on the throne and we need to act like it instead of walking around defeated and scared of the evil tyrants that try to intimidate us.

I mean, Butler was just over a year ago. My gut feeling is that had Trump died, it would be more significant than this. But he didn't.

This is the biggest moment since 9/11. 9/10 - They answered Charlie's words with bullets.

They lost when Christ hung on the cross.

That said, much of what you’re sounding so noodle about sounds very similar to 9/12/01.

It likely temporary.

For many it will be. We are all, hand raised highest of any, far too buried in the idols of this world to truly work on and develop a true burning relationship with our Creator that creates a Burning Fire for action in the way the Kirk did.

I spent more than 40 years hurtling head-long down the wrong path and was nearly completely broken before I allowed God's Grace to save and redirect me. I am still a broken sinner that falls remarkably short of the man that God would have me be daily. However, despite vast shortcomings, I am truly working on sanctification.

In this moment, it feels like our charge is to recognize what you said, that for many this will be a temporary reprieve and help them to remember when they begin to fall back into the world.

The more of us that can take hold of His Word, walk it, live it, share it, teach it, the more it will take hold. That is what Charlie was doing and what I think we should do much more of in our communities if we are to truly honor his legacy.

Real wisdom in this. My prayer as well. Good post.
