Handing out throwables and hoping drunk people don't throw them is lunacy.

Making them also light up and blink really solidifies it

Ideally, for full effect, they should do this later in the season when it will be darker early. With a 6:30 start, it will be daylight for at least the 1st quarter and probably won't be fully dark until mid-way through the 2nd quarter. For example, last year when they did this for the Ole Miss game that was almost exactly a month later (Oct. 12) than tomorrow.

Then again, I guess there is no guarantee the October home games (SC and A&M) will be night games.

I’m very surprised they allowed this again considering how many people were chunking them last season. Many of Louisiana’s finest lawyers are foaming at the mouth right now. Ready to pounce.

Lets just hope the refs don't make any bone head calls that require us chunking them!

Have you walked through a gate to enter an LSU sporting event? I guarantee you the security team isn't on the lookout for a "banned" fan. I've been to games where they ticket scanners were so busy talking to one another that but for me basically asking them to scan my ticket I would have walked in unimpeded

I've said this in other threads, but I was absolutely one who thought the wristbands would look horrible and gimmicky. But then with Boosie goin and the wrist bands lighting up it was absolutely electric. I think it was 100% a success, except for the jackasses who felt the need to throw them so they could look cool and chuckle with their friends. I don't get the joy that comes with throwing the wrist band, maybe possibly seeing someone get hit with it, watch them go "OUCH frick MAN" and then laugh at what just transpired. I also don't get those that wanted to try to get it on the field and possibly get us a 15 yard penalty.

The dumbass officials at the Texas v Georgia game last year set a precedent for throwing crap on to the field.

Texas has a bad call (PI) go against them to wipe out a INT. The students throw trash all over the field. While the stadium staff is cleaning it up the officials decide to "discuss" the call and ultimately overturn a non-reviewable call.

I'm also convinced that's why LSU doesn't show replays in Tiger Stadium anymore
