Ok

He noted Chester will play any spot they ask him to

Playing and being productive is two different things

Did he mean to say he’s of no value?

Coach talking positively about a struggling player, crazy concept!

Technically him being the backup at multiple different positions is valuable on this team. However, the fact that he is the backup as multiple different positions is an indictment on this coaching staff.

Hope he’s the MVP of the bench the rest of the season and Davis can join him.

I would say that’s pretty solid and great versatility.. y’all love to bag on him. I hope he gets better, rarely do true freshman lineman just dominate. Crazy that his own HC would have his back.

What do you want BK to say?

He’s not going to come out and say Chester sucks in public. He’s going to try and build him up and give him some confidence

Not speaking for everyone, I might bag on him a shite ton during the game, but I do appreciate his effort and hope that he becomes an all american type player for us.

Same thing with Mubenga.

But thats why the scoreboard forum gets deleted every week. Its a new week, let's see what happens.

Well, he’s a redshirt sophomore, so 3rd year in college. 3 years is more than enough. Techs small (in comparison) NT was pushing him 3 yards in the backfield every play. I like him but just seems he doesn’t have it. Whether it’s strength, technique, etc. I don’t know.

I blame Chester for our horrible offense so far this season and he’s the reason Nuss can’t throw the long ball.

This shitting on Chester is starting to reach DJ Welter levels. I hope he gets MVP against Florida so people can STFU for at least a week.

We all do. Nobody is rooting against him, but the fact is when he has played he has been a total liability. Sage Ryan was the same thing last year, and nobody was calling him invaluable. Sometimes a player is just what he is, the effort is there but the talent isn’t.

Not surprising. Coach is defending his player against all the negative publicity.

Just shut the frick up already. All half you motherfrickers want to do is hate on players. He's not Wilie Roaf. We got it. Now shut the frick up, move on and hope he gets better.

You’d definitely be there to talk shite about the guy behind him.

This is a coaching problem but you’re blaming the wrong guy. Chester is invaluable.
