It’s incredibly hard to quickly catch a random person leaving the scene quickly without some dumb luck
It’s also incredibly hard to run from the scene and go undocumented
This type of stuff takes time- reviewing what could be hundreds to thousands of cameras as you parse through the university, nearby homes, businesses etc…
Ultimately at some point the runner slows down and the chasers speed up - but don’t be shocked if this is days or weeks
