I have 2 children. Both lean conservative and were baffled at the assassination of Charlie Kirk. This wasn't just a murder. This is me fearing even more for the future of my children.

Not a great day for America.

They had no idea the extent of Charlie’s reach.

Because Charlie was a good dude. He mobilized the kids to vote R and gave them hope for a better America.

A part of it is because they stole a uniquely gifted man from us.

But I think deeper than that, we see in Charlie on his worst day the best of ourselves on our best day.

It's another tipping point.

It follows the shock of the release of the murder in Charlotte.

Our senses are raw. We're tired of the violence from the left.

Charlie was one of us. He had a wife, a beautiful family, and he was an incredible person.

We're tired of what the left is doing to this country. We're fed up.

Charlie is now a martyr. His legscy will live on. He was a good man.

He was the future man. So much promise all gone. I haven’t been broken up about something like this in a long time.

Because he was straight, Christian, and male.

He was undoing the indoctrination by the professors.

I think it’s because Charlie was one of us. He was a father, that loved his Lord, his family and his country. We’re all less without him walking around on this earth. Thankfully I knew he’s in the presence of the Lord tonight.

First significant successful political assassination in this country since Bobby Kennedy, 1968.

That’s why.

CK was a good guy, walked the same as he talked, was an inspiration to many, and was pleasantly effective.

Once again, the Left commits inhuman levels of violence, claim THEY are the victims, and people just shrug and say how sad it is.

Beyond tired of it.

It stings because it was a public execution of a relatively young family man who the left could not come close to defeating in the arena of ideas of either politics or religion. He had a ton of influence over young people and that influence was growing rapidly.

He was poised to influence national politics in America for the next several decades and possibly run for office himself. He was a massive threat to the marxists/globalists and their agenda to destroy what's left of America. He was breaking the grip the left has had for many years over young voters in this country. In essence he was a big part of the future of the America first movement and now he's gone. He's been made an example of what happens when you are a white Christian conservative, and you gain too much power and influence in this country.

Anyone hoping to be the next Charlie Kirk will think twice before stepping out into the public eye and challenging the scumbag leftists in the arena of ideas. That along with the elimination of Charlie was the goal of the people who assassinated him.

Apologies from DEMOCRATS I do not accept. They are part of this assassination. I also don't want to hear about reaching across the isle or bipartisanship. DEMOCRATS simply need to be defeated. They destroy everything they touch.

Charlie was an icon who I felt a personal connection with off of YouTube and subscribed to. It felt like I lost a friend. This was 9/11 level of sadness.

Your post was spot on and why they had to kill him and why they (DEMOCRATS) tried to kill Trump, Scalise, Kavanaugh and others. This has put hate in my heart.

Shut up or die.
They actually mean it.
They assassinated an innocent man who was a great husband and father. He had no political power to impact their lives. They killed him simply because they were threatened by who he could have become. His calm, intelligent but kind approach to anyone willing to have an open discussion about opposing views was powerful just simply because of the man he was. He was winning the hearts of young people with kindness and truth.
They couldn’t let him live because he would not shut up.

Charlie was just a guy expressing his 1st Amendment right, and debating others doing the same. And Democrats hated him so much that one of them assassinated Charlie.

SFP white knights for Democrats every day. frick that guy.

Had he not aspired to be anything else (President?), he was poised to be the Rush Limbaugh of a new generation.

A person to guide a righteous cause with clarity and insight, but with even more universal appeal than Rush.

Now that hope, that guide, has been snuffed out, with no one in the wings to take up that throne, much as was the case with Rush.
