NBA investigating Beasley for gambling, SJSU players bet on games

The prop bets are out of control. Joe wants to sit on his couch and bet whether Trayvonte Smith gets 3 boards in the second half in the Eastern New Mexico Tech v Utah A&M game. That tweaked ankle isn’t looking good.
Betting culture is just another thing that is killing sports legitimacy.

It's also ruined talking about sports. It wasn't even September and we had all kinds of discussion on Arch, Klubnik, and Nuss' Heisman odds knowing damn well that there's a 90% chance those morons will just following some narrative from the last 2 weeks of the season. But because their gambling overlords wants bets we've gotten hear about Heisman odds after week 1.

The gambling companies are in bed with the leagues and the media.
The coming crash will be deafening.

Part of it is their own fault for offering prop bets on every scrub lol… there would be a lot less shenanigans if bets were only offered on games and players of sufficient popularity (and compensate those players if they’re a betting product)
And I’ve said this before, “under” bets are too easy to manipulate on those props. Maybe they should require some minimum playing time or else it’s no bet
At least “over” bets require some production to happen…

For every one of these they catch there's probably 100 they dont.
With online gambling so easy, this seems like an almost impossible thing to police.

Beasley, was clearly having money issues, but was about to sign a 3 yr $42 MM deal. Now he will be lucky to get $8 MM, once the NBA clears him. That is tough to swallow, especially if he had nothing to do with it.

The only way they catch people is when they get greedy.
Like the Gump baseball coach tipping off an accomplice that his ace was injured. Then the retard goes and tries to bet $10k on a college baseball game.
Or the NBA retard who took himself out of the game after his partner placed a large prop bet. The casino is going to flag an unrealistic bet.
