Ryan Pressly called after the game last night (I have no idea how he got my number). He said he had some leftover bags o' dick and was wondering if it was ok to forward those to Abreu. I told him to go for it, but I wasn't sure if you could ship those internationally. He will report back.

Meanwhile, some images of where the season is headed for your entertainment:

The good news about the team being so awful is we'll have a really high draft pick, right?

June was an anomaly. This is not a good ballclub

I think the pitching has done about as well as it can given all the injuries (separate story altogether). Who knew that Costanza, Blueballs, King, and Okert would be such vital pieces? They have all over-achieved. Abreu is leaking oil right now, but at least he is healthy?

I am mostly concerned about the offense...not just on the short term, but from a philosophy standpoint.

There is no way a lineup consisting of Pena, Yordan, Altuve, Correa, Walker, and Diaz should struggle to scratch out runs almost every single night.

When the Astros were dominating from 2017-2019, they were way above average at drawing walks and making the pitcher throw a lot of pitches. I feel like that has done a total 180 now. I think that is where this team misses Bregman the most, and they certainly miss E-Sock as well. Carlito has put together a lot of good AB since his return and Yed seems to have a good command of the zone right now, but everyone else is up there just flailing away

As I’ve been doing, I had last night’s game on this morning. It got to the late innings and I just kind of fast forwarded 30 seconds or so at a time. Didn’t see what Altuve did on the basepaths and saw enough of Abreu to fire him into the sun or send a bag of dicks, whichever is cheaper. I saw it went to extras and stopped watching.

Just truly some of the most inept, non-intelligent shite has been going on with these frickers for awhile.

And when you throw in that they have an injury problem at an organizational level, it makes the product mostly unwatchable.

Altuve has been bad. Not helping the team at all.

Our pitchers were playing way above their heads and have come back to the means.

Our hitting has not been good. Spotty at best.

I don't see a plan or strategy from these coaches.

I see no playoffs this year after our 8 year run, probaby end up below .500.

Other than that, Go Stros.

Dealing Framber then and Pena now would have taken Luhnow-level foresight

Nothing left to do but try to pick up the pieces now

I probably won’t be around for the next great run, but these bitches should be running poles
