What time do you have to get to Chimes on a game day to actually get a table?

Will be in BR Saturday for the game and typically go to walk on’s but wanted to mix it up this time.

I know Chime’s is a very popular spot and I am assuming it is usually shoulder to shoulder in there before games.

Open to suggestions for other places, just trying to eat/drink/watch the earlier games before we head towards the stadium.

Can you check on OpenTable and see if you can actually reserve a table? I know there are quite a few that do that but they may not be on the app

I’m very experienced at this.

we usually go before everygame.

Go about two hours before you are hungry & put name on list. They will text you when ready.

In the mean time you can stand at the Chimes bar or walk into the Varsity in the same building and drink at the bar and watch games with the Huge TVs.

What are some other options in that area? I'm sure Louies is packed. (Still miss the original one on Chimes!) Used to go to City Slice on Chimes but it closed. Ended up at BWW this past weekend and the food was terrible.

This. With the rooftop added, the place flows much better to get drinks and a table. Wish we had another spot or 2 like this close to campus. Walk ons just isnt fun to be at on gameday for me.

How did no one come in a fill that spot before the season? Have to think those 7-8 weekends during the fall are the most profitable time to be open. When did it close down?

City Slice moved into the old Pluckers on Nicholson, and it happened like 2 months ago. So, it probably wasn't enough time for someone to come in and set up a business in time for this season.

I’d go to the Chimes East instead of the one right by the university if you go there. The Chimes right by the university was an absolute nightmare especially on a gameday and there is hardly any parking area at all. We just gave up and left there and went to the Chimes east and didn’t have a problem at all. Way more spacious.

I’d be concerned about being able to drive to campus.
