Today’s were an absolute shite show.
Didn’t we just come out with white helmets? When are they wearing those and what combo will they be worn with?
IMHO, just stay with the Gold/white or black/gold

Man I love it when teams tweak their uniforms and think people on TD bitch about them way too much usually, but these jerseys were actually horrible. Like someone else here said earlier, there were so many different things they could have done and that’s what they came up with?

Darken the gold, put a real set of stripes on the helmet and pants, and you’d have a good uniform set. The color Rush and throwbacks use a great shade of gold. Use that on these jerseys and the primary uniforms, and the uniform set would be perfect.

I agree with everything you said, BUT.... as they said during the broadcast, this was the fit Cam wanted to open the season with. If you have seen Cam out and about, him wanting to wear bright bold colors that clash would not surprise you. So, it appears that this is something the players like, and even though I think it looks hideous, if they like it, I'm for it.

The last time we had Gold jerseys, Aaron Brooks was the QB.
I walked into a sporting goods store, and they had two circular racks full of gold #2 jerseys.

I just don't get it. Khaki/Tan just isn't it. I get that having an old gold jersey might not look good, but the helmets, pants, and accents on the other jerseys look great. Figure something else out and stop making the rest of the uniform look like shite. I don't buy any Saints merchandise anymore because it all has tan on it, not gold. It's like they don't like money.

Cam has been pushing for any type of gold jersey for a decade.
The problem is that Saints/Gayle/Brand Officer are all content with the beige color and don’t want to update the entire brand.
So this is what they’re left with.
If the team stuck with gold pants for both home/away uniforms, it would look a whole lot better than the mono black and white look.
Teams have to designate the alternate uniforms 2-3x, so we’ll see color rush and this gold abomination more times. There won’t be a throwback this season.

Wear the Black helmets with the Black jersey and Black pants.
