Rattler is at best just a career backup.
Loomis through a trade could have gotten Mayfield or Goff a few years back. Signing FA Carson Wentz was another possibility.

So you want a first time HC to intentionally lose every game? He will do anything he can to get his first win and Shough inst part of that yet. If Rattler keeps playing like today it might be much longer than 4 weeks before we see Shough.

I agree he is not the biggest problem by far, not calling the timeouts before the half still have me perplexed. The 3rd and 11 call on defense is a close second

I believe that this is a factor as to why Rattler was named the starter. Moore knew this was going to be a tough first quarter of the season, and didn’t want to throw Shough into that. But he also knows that there’s a very loud segment of the fanbase that wants Rattler starting.
Once we lose 4-5 games….. it will be harder for those morons to scream too loud once he’s pulled
