I haven't seen anyone complaining about the defense or calling for anyone on the defensive side of the ball to be fired. Have you?

How many points per game is the offense averaging?

Come on, Dude, LSU fans see a QB who can't run and throws inaccurate passes, and an offensive line getting pushed around. But sure, throw flowers for a piss poor offensive outing against an inferior opponent.

Tech may have a decent defense. Loosing Moore early hurt the offense more than most people realize.

Keep that up all season and you are undefeated

Way too early for that. It’s normal to be off sometimes but having an offense that sloppy for 4 quarters last night against an unranked non conference opponent is disconcerting to say the least.

late 4th qtr

first and goal from the 3 yard line

forced to kick a FG

that's a big fail in my book

Just not a good vibe about hte future when it comes to "needing" a first down on finish off a game

Defense is absolutely balling out, no one is debating that side of the ball.

All the offensive criticism is warranted, I’m as positive as anyone.. but I don’t let that get away from what I saw last night. Offense has a lot to figure out.

The complaints are from the fact everyone recognizes this is a championship level defense and LSU has an OC struggling with what should be a good offense. No one wants to see a repeat of 2023 where one side of the ball completely ruined the great effort on the other side.

Sloan is never going to have a better combination of talent/experience to work with. Yet his overall approach is awful. For the second straight season, with a completely new OL the running game sucks. That’s because it’s predictable and defensive fronts/LBs aren’t being fooled.

The approach to the passing game is one like LSU is the underdog just trying to hang around rather than getting playmakers in position to make plays. Sloan is terrified of attacking the middle of the field in the passing game despite a bevy of slot WRs and a QB who is at his best when doing so.

Everyone gets enamored with the handful of “trick” misdirection plays, but the reality is for most of Sloan’s tenure as OC he’s been a master of gaining empty yards. It’s nice to move the ball in between the 20’s, but he’s inefficient in turning that into TDs

I know this is a foreign concept for many on the board, but you can be happy with the record while also recognizing issue that could prevent this team from reaching its full potential

Georgia also put up 28 on Austin Peay yesterday. They must also suck and need to fire everyone.

Yes, last season. And that goes to show how stupid those MFers are.

Clemson was fooled - a lot. Tech scouted that and sat on it. But maybe they figured it was better to beat Tech ugly than to show more stuff.

Again, I’m having a tough time finding a lot people people saying that LSU sucks and we need to fire everyone.
