Sports betting is bringing the eyes back to football. Plus the manning factor.

The gap between college football and thr nba is utterly huge. I guess you can say the same for any other sport...America is a football country and I dont ever see that changing

I think that means there was 16 milion people who had the game on there TV package. Not 16 milion watching at the same time.

The reality is there’s no alternative. If there were still a CFB with regional conferences, the BCS, and no NIL, I’d watch it over the modern product, but there isn’t one.

So us long term fans will keep watching because of inertia, and the modern game + gambling probably attracts more casuals.

I remember being told there were more 4th generation Oregon State fans who would stop watching the new iteration of CFB than Joe's from the Bronx who would be tuning in
