The First 48. Who is your favorite detective and why?

I present to you Caroline Mason, Memphis Homicide.
This woman is a beast - she gets inside a suspect’s head almost immediately. Then she keeps driving.

If ever I need a homicide detective, I want the Tulsa crew for sure. Unless you post your crime on facebook or were directly in front of a working camera, the New Orleans team probably ain't solving it...

LIved there for five years. NOPD couldn't figure out where the Algiers ferry is if it's not tied up at the dock on Canal Streeet.

before I clicked on the thread, I was going to say that the Memphis crew were my favorite. Caroline Mason was the shite. And her bald headed colleague.
Now, I enjoy the crew from Tulsa.
FWIW, the NOLA Homicide Squad show is great. The reason why The First 48 stopped filming there was because one of the cases got hung up in court over footage that A&E acquired during the show.

Damn, I didn't know John Brown passed away!! Big baw always had a fatty in.
I've been an avid fan since it started and still love this show so much. Don't watch it as often as I'd like though.

I like the Tulsa guys too. Funny story. Back in the early 2000’s, I was an avid watcher of the first 48 show. One night, while watching an episode, they were in Miami and one of my HS baseball teammates, who was a couple years older than me, Just appeared on the show. I hadn’t seen him since HS and he was a detective in Miami metro. His name is L.C. Melancon but of course they didn’t pronounce it like we do in SW La. They pronounced it Melan-con. I am not sure how many episodes he was on but, from what I recall, I remember seeing him on a few.

Love to watch this guy. He's always making the goofiest facial expressions.
This guy from Mobile seems pretty cool.
A bad bitch from Gwinnett County.
The OfrickinG from Miami.
