The National Guard should be in all of these blue cities, in ALL 50 states.

Salt Lake City and Seattle are probably safe.

If I were POTUS, I'd have the republican governors ask for national guard in the blue cities in their states and leave the blue states to fend for themselves and let the results do the speaking for me.

Bc Chicago is the only one of those that is Top 10 population-wise in the country. Chicago has 100 more homicides than Houston that is almost identical in pop size and has 200 more than St Louis.

Because it's the biggest. He mentioned NYC, LA, and Baltimore as well.

I'm sure Memphis and NOLA are somewhere down the priority list.

Yes, all 6 are run by Democrats and have been for decades. Below are the last time for each city to have a mayor who was a non-Democrat (nor Democrat posing as "nonpartisan").

St Louis - 1949 (due to the sitting Mayor dying)
Baltimore - 1967
New Orleans - 1872
Detroit - 1962
Cleveland - 1989
Memphis - 1991
Chicago - 1932
