Anyone been to this venue? Thinking of going to see Stanley Jordan there. Just wondering about the space and the area.

PROS : great venue that seats 350+ ppl, not a bad seat in the house, excellent acoustics
CONS : you may not have a car or rims when leaving the show. That area known as "Central City" in the 7th ward is scary 24/7. Walking 2-4 blocks to your parking spot at 11PM is no bueno in that area. I'd seriously consider taking a Uber from a nearby hotel.

I saw him at Tipitina's way back in 1993. I was amazed but my newlywed wife fell asleep.

Well, I’m going to have to figure it out. Have tix to see Jordan in October and Jane Monheit in December. She hasn’t been to this area since she was at Manship in 2014. She’s incredible.

Beautiful venue with a great sound. Area around is sketchy so definitely Uber.

Well, I’m here. Don’t think there is going to be a big crowd, but this space is amazing. Can’t wait for the show to start. This version has only been open a few weeks, but they are getting some pretty solid names in Jazz over the next few weeks. Coming back in December. Hope to be back lots more.

I parked near the Roosevelt Hotel and ubered over.
