I am just here to thank Sage Ryan for Transferring!

whether it was by his own choice or by force, I appreciate him vacating his position to allow for someone else to show us what real safety/cornerback/nickel play looks like. It will be interesting to see how he does at Ole Miss. Sometimes players transferring is a blessing in disguise. As fans, we all freaked out when there was talk of him transferring before last season. I am glad, so far, it’s worked out for LSU.

Good post but who was freaking out about him transferring? Watching that little bobblehead run a 4.7 40 across the field looking like a 2nd grader chasing grown men from behind was the low point of DBU in the 2000’s. There wasn’t a single part of me that was worried about him leaving LSU or going to Ole Miss

Don’t forget he was a 5 star recruit too. This was definitely a head scratcher watching that mofo chasing ghosts from behind for two or three years.

I believe it was communicated to him that he would likely be seeing 2nd and 3rd team reps going into this season and he decided to transfer.
