Gas Works Park. Public park with a fantastic location directly on Lake Union.
Edit: I'm actually more shocked that the city would even permit something like that TBH. Surprised the POS commies K'Shama and Lisa didn't try to step in.

Honestly, I really do miss it too.
It was very fascinating in a psychological and socieatally observational way, to catch the daily updates of how terribly things were going when a bunch of stoner hippies and anarchist anqueefers were "policing" themselves and rejecting any other laws but their own- laws that seemed as finite and defined as a flowing river of mud.
I actually remember people going around telling victims of robbery and mugging that they "shouldn't complain because obviously your mugger needed something more than you did", and to "just consider it an unplanned donation to the less fortunate."
I was like putting 6,000 mice in a box and dropping in a sheet of acid. And I got to watch it all from the peaceful comfort of my living room in the beating red heart of Conservative America.

My wife and I have friends who live up above Seattle, 40 miles or so, that we visit often. Some of the prettiest country; nicest, friendliest, most laid back and down to earth people; freshest and most scrumptious seafood; and tastiest beer and wine and cider you could ever imagine. Plenty of churches, too.
Our experience with Seattle proper is flying in, getting a car and heading the hell north as quickly as we can, then reversing the process on the way home. Without stopping.

You also don't have to be ALIVE either, nor do you have to be alive to get monthly social security benefits.
