I don’t know why they played Chester? Carius Curne is listed as the backup. I guess they didn’t want to throw a freshman into that Clemson environment? My guess is as the season progresses Curne is going to take over that back up spot. Hopefully

Chester is the 6th man and can ply every position on the line

You can always scheme away from a tackle. I expect curne to be caught up n that guy come mid season.

There is no way to make you feel better, go watch the film when Chester came in. He got beat bad twice, luckily our plays went to the right and not his side.

Yes I know, but he isn’t listed on the depth chart at all for offensive tackle. He is not very good. Hopefully with time Curne will pass him. I’ve heard good things about his progress. I think it’s just a matter of time. Also did you see Chester for the 2 plays he was in? Awful, I feel bad for him. He is just not very good. Can he really play every position?

I’m sure that was it. Apparently he was jumping offsides/false-starting a lot the last couple weeks of camp. Can’t have that. I wonder if It had been more significant and for a longer stretch of the game if they still would have ridden with Chester.

He may take over the RT spot. Davis was…not great.

Lol the first play after Chester came in was a run off left tackle that went for zero yards.

Chester is really bad. For the 2 plays he was in spoke for themselves. If he plays tackle we are in really big trouble. He is the reason our inside pocket was continually collapsing last year.

That is not what I saw. When Chester came in, LSU ran right up his backside for no gain. I was flabbergasted seeing that.
