I have the 3rd pick in a 10 team league. I'm thinking Justin Jefferson.

I’d say the clear top 2 should be Chase and Bijan. After that, it’s a personal preference and any of CeeDee, Jets, Gibbs and Barkley are solid picks with not much separating them.

You can’t go wrong with JJ. There isn’t much separation between those picks, so simply choose who you want to root for and enjoy watching more. If there was a discernible difference, I’d go with the better fantasy player, but with them being near equal, it’s the only time I would combine fandom and fantasy.

You’ve got to have an alternative plan though. If either Chase or Bijan are available, go with them. Whether Jets is taken, or someone else. Don’t be married to a player during a draft, stay on your toes, adapt and go with the flow of the draft.

We’re just assuming that JJ McCarthy will be able to make throws in the NFL day 1 starting?

“Sure if Darnold & Cousins….” Okay…bet the 3rd pick on him.

Or maybe pick someone with less uncertainty. Up to you “purple & gold..ahhhhhhhh”

He beat out Darnold last year before getting hurt iirc.

I’d go Barkley and I don’t know why people aren’t taking him second. A freak rb on a good team that will be winning and running the ball with a top O-line in the league. He’s going to feast again.

Before the hammy issues, I would have went JJ but even minor training camp injuries, especially lower body, scare me away after a bad couple of years of taking players who get even minor injuries in preseason

I think Gibbs or Barkley should be the pick at 3 and you can make the case for Ceedee

I'm going Gibbs. He scored more points than Barkley in PPR. Homer arse LSu fans here will say JJ though.

He's been one of the best wrs in the league since he arrived. Now LSU fans are homers for picking 3rd? Yeah none the "experts" or rankings have him there.

Hardly any experts have him 3rd because they are worried about the QB situation. Has nothing to do with JJ

I didn't say 4th did I? I said 3rd overall. Find me a lot of experts that have him 3rd overall. You won't

It is consensus rankings. That means that he is ranked above 4th and below it. And you're really sitting here arguing over whether or not its the 3rd or the 4th pick. Its one slot difference.

People were worried about the QB situation last year. How did that work out?

It's just a ridiculous statement to say that LSU fans are Homers for picking a guy one spot above the ECR rankings.
