Probably not what he'll be worth in a couple weeks.

Agreed- I think you could swing for guys that went in the 7th round today- (Aaron Jones, Jaylen Waddle, JCM, Flowers) there could be some buyers remorse there with Egbuka getting more and more hype..but he could end up being worth a 4th rounder in a few weeks.

He should have a lot of opportunity on a good offense. They really don't have anyone in the pass game behind him and Evans right now

Otton could be a steal at the end of drafts.

Egbuka is trending towards a low end WR2 at the moment, but there is a tier of WRs that spans about 15 players from around WR 20 to WR 35 or so, IMO. He’s solidly in there.

Based on Draft Sharks' trade value chart, he currently has a value of 23, similar to Tyrone Tracy, Mahomes, MAndrews, or Jakobi Meyers.

If he has a quick start, which I expect, he could easily jump up to a 35, which would put him with TreVeyon Henderson, Burrow, LaPorta, or DK.

I don't necessarily agree with their values, but I also can't say they are wrong.

If he has a good start, I plan to shop him around week 3 before Godwin gets it going.

Maybe Ricky Pearsall or Jaylen Warren

I like them a little better but each is a toss up.

I think that if you drafted him that you are willing to take the risk that he will not live up to the hype....but if he does you either have a solid above average contributor / valuable trade asset.

If he doesn't you are probably still sitting there with a solid bye week / depth guy as a worst case scenario imo.

I think you have to sit on him for at least 3-4 weeks no matter how it plays out

I basically agree

I’m in the camp that Godwin won’t be a huge hurt to his value if he starts hot. Godwin’s ankle break was crazy bad. There’s a decent chance he’s not the same.

I just don’t think you can trade Egbuka until you know one way or another

I’m rolling him out week 1 as my WR2 in a 12 team over G Wilson/DJ Moore. No brakes and no looking back

Just to bump this...I did just offer Piersall for Egbuka. Guy only drafted 4 total WRs (12 team, 18 man roster, full PPR) & my next sweetener will be a "2 for 1" to throw in my WR6 or 7 (Iosivas, Burden) in exchange for 2 mid/late 2026 pick.

We freeze 4 each year as well
