EO to ban burning of the U.S. Flag is Brilliant.

I understand that there is another post about this subject but the knee jerks and the posters who believe they are the smartest in the room, referring to specifically to SFP dumb arse, do not see the forest for the trees.
The flag burning EO is political bait and has Steven Miller and his good instincts all of over it. I have already seen an angry Tampon Tim, not that he has ever been happy, pitching a fit about it the yesterday.
Anyone with any walking around sense understands that flag burning in most legal instances is protected by the 1st Amendment and many Americans may not like it, but do agree with the protection of the freedom of speech. The EO will get challenged in the courts immediately and it may possibly drag through the courts to the benefit to the Trump administration.
I would bet money that most decent Americans, and the majority on this board, do not relish viewing the Stars and Stripes burned by foreign enemies, nor do they enjoy seeing the U.S. flag burned in this country, no matter party affiliation.
Guess what is about to happen during the next socialist democratic, college save the (fill in the blank), don't deport the criminal protest and the protesters are rainbow haired, LBGT++--, palestine, antifa, liberal white hags and fat feminine soft dudes who wear stinking nasty berkinstocks?
Bueller, Bueller, anyone? These freaks are going 10x up on the amount of flags they burn and it will not be a winning image on TV or social media to most normal people. President Trump mentions how flag burning incites riots and I think there will be riots. Yet, the dems will double down just have they have on the trans, the socialist mayors elect, and the general perversion. It will be a losing effort for the dems and good for the republicans for the midterms.
Do you think Massie will be supporting tweeting about how he supports all the freaks burning the flag? I don't so.

I'm actually leaning towards 4D chess this time. Two fold purpose - as stated above, the leftist mobs won't be able to help themselves. Secondly, it gets cut down as an infringement on protected speech... and takes down "hate crimes" of defacing the LGBTQPEDO flag with it.

So if things work out the way you're predicting and Trump is baiting people into rioting, how exactly is that a good thing? Wouldn't that make Trump a piece of shite?

The demonstrations are already happening and will continue to happen, no real legitimate cause is really required. There will just be more flag burnings at them. We’ve seen damage control for them hoisting foreign flags, now add in burnt American flags.

But my point is according to YOUR theory, Trump is using this to try to incite political violence. I can't imagine how you could defend him if you think that is his intention.

Yes it is, all the blue hairs will be out there burning American flags as a way to protest Trump, and I’m sure all the commercials Republicans make with all the footage going into the midterms will play well with undecided voters.

It's this. This is a Nixon level political play. At rhe same time the DNC is sending out a list of words begging their constituents not to use because of their affiliation with radical leftism, the usual crew won't be able to help themselves from organizing flag burning protests on main street usa, and it'll be plastered all over the internet and tv for all to see. Right. So just to clarify. According to OP, Trump is attempting to use an executive order to erode first amendment rights in the hopes that it will incite political violence and riots to "own the libs" and you all consider that "brilliant"
I would consider that completely irresponsible. But I'm not a cult member.
