How many of ya'll keep a floor jack in your truck? had to change a tire this week and don't want to imagine doing that at night with a bottle jack on the interstate

They make bottle jack support plates. I need to get one.

I have a compact 3 ton floor jack that I throw in the truck for long trips, especially with a trailer.

ETA: Nevermind, now I remember why I didn’t buy one in the first place. Too pricey.

I have a 1.5 ton from harbor freight. Used it twice and it’s great. Also having a ryobi impact drill with lug nut adapter is the tits.

I keep a couple of 18” 4x4’s in my bed because the crap jacks our trucks come with will not lift high enough to work. Dewalt impact goes if it’s a trip out of town.

Add in a breaker bar and you have the trifecta.

Impact wrench on a trip but not worrying about a dwindling to dead battery. And a spinning in your palm 4-way is pretty damn fast.

Same here with the jack but different on the impact. I bought an off-brand on Amazon that uses Dewalt 20V batteries. Absolutely love it for lug nuts, lawnmower blade nuts, etc.

I have a 5 ton electric hydraulic jack. Plug it into the truck. It has an air compressor, light and jack. Around $80. It comes with a small case. I’ve used it several times, works really well on my half ton truck.

I carry a five ton double piston floor jack under my tool box. Plus some blocks, air compressor. 4 way lug wrench, 24” breaker bar, battery impact, plugs and glue. And Kroil.

You never know.
