Last year towards the end of the year when Keys earned the starting role alongside of Whit, he balled out. Dude was all over the field and kind of reminded me of a young Devin White.

Why all of sudden is West Weeks starting and Keys backing up?

Imo Keys looked like the next great LB under Coach Baker.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I hope we see a good amount of Keys again because that baw is a dude.

Anyways !

West was hurt. Now he’s not. West will play. If he’s not, then Keys will play. Ty sits behind Whit.

Well Whit should be starting.

Keys will still get valuable reps this season and it's a good thing to have depth

Their will be a lot of rotation at lb we’re deep there. Beyond keys another top 200 recruit in sophomore in singleton looks like he took the next step and ready to get some run

Keys played to preserve West’ redshirt.

Keys will play a lot this year and start next year

The Clemson RB is 6-2; 235 I think there may be a scheme/ personnel component.

I know Keys is going to be a valuable piece of this defense

I meant to say West, sorry not Whit. Whit is a dawg and might be the best off ball LB in the SEC.

Either way it seems like we have some actual depth now at LB.

Maybe I'm naive, but how is West better than Keys?

MLB is the QB of the defense. Usually takes a very smart mature person. Keys might be making some young mistakes.

I will say Keys & West are both better than Penn. MLB will be an upgrade regardless

The coaches arent just guessing. They are grading these guys out every day. The guys that grade out the highest play the most reps.

If i remember correctly, last year Keys played next to Penn and Whit.

West is taking Penn’s position, which is different and not interchangeable.

Now we're talking . I am surprised if the younger is already ahead of Keys. I know most of us were really high on high after the Baylor game.

I just remember him dropping an int verse Florida that hit right in the numbers deep in UF territory.
Florida hit a 50 yard pass on the next play, and td on the next.

What do you mean all of a sudden? From my knowledge, Keys wasn't getting snaps over West when he was 100% healthy.

I guess I missed the part where Keys was starting regularly down the stretch next to Whit and balling out while West was sitting on the sidelines because he was redshirted.

All I’m saying is I think Keys earned a starting spot but I guess the coaches think otherwise.

Only time will tell. Hopefully for our sake both of them are ballers and we have a good problem on our hands.

I missed that as well. This more of West picking it up faster or just being better overall?

You must have missed the part where I said when West was 100% healthy, which he wasn't down the stretch.
