N/S - well because of Loomis, 0 Saints on the ESPN top 100 list

First time I can remember not seeing a Saints player on the list.
Multiple players that could be Saints players by keeping the player or pick.
18 - Jalen Carter
30 - Trey Hendrickson
41 - Zach Baun

You left out two that I may have mentioned a few times on this board….
91 - Cooper Dejean - used with our 2nd round pick in the Olave trade
51 - Brian Branch - used with our Fosky pick.

Loomis & the FO have objectively failed this organization the last 5 years. The Saints' best player is arguably Eric McCoy. Grim.

I will say that Loomis is about 75-85% responsible for this. The reason I do not put the full 100% on this is you named 2 people that Loomis and his scouting department identified as players worthy of a draft pick. The defensive coaches could not figure out how to play them in their system, and Loomis made the decision to either go a different route (Hendrickson), or make a low offer (Baun) due to the limited roles they were expected to have in the system.
Regardless of how well Hendrikson played his last year, the plan was for Davenport & Cam to be the starting DEs.

Saints are just one of those teams that cycle players in and out with no real direction for the team . Blame owner first. It starts at the top. She, (they) pick the GM and then Head Coach. It reminds me of the Mecom years. It only changed when Tom came in and hired Jim Finks as GM.
