Good Monday mornin' knotheads

What’s the difference between the Dallas Cowboys and a dollar bill?

You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.

Leave it to the sun to reflect on the moon.

Morning Baw, BnB, BOOT and everyone else yet to come.

On this day in history:

325
The Council of Nicaea—the first ecumenical council of the Christian church, called by the emperor Constantine I—brought to an end the controversy of Arianism, concluding that God the Father was of equal status with God the Son.

1609
Galileo Galilei demonstrates his first telescope to Venetian lawmakers, including the Doge (ruler) of Venice, Leonardo Donato.

1619
Slavery begins in mainland British colonies of North America when the first known African captives (approximately 20) land at Point Comfort, Virginia, before being sold or traded into servitude.

1718
Hundreds of French colonists arrive in Louisiana and found New Orleans.

1825
Uruguay Declares Independence from the Brazilian Empire.

1835
New York's The Sun began running a series of news accounts that falsely claimed British astronomer John Herschel had observed all sorts of life on the Moon, including winged human creatures about four feet tall; it became known as the Great Moon Hoax, though The Sun never retracted the stories.

1875
Captain Matthew Webb makes the first recorded unassisted swim across the English Channel in 21 hours and 45 minutes.

1894
Japanese scientist Shibasaburo Kitasato discovers the infectious agent of the bubonic plague and publishes his findings in The Lancet.

1916
U.S. President Woodrow Wilson signed the “Organic Act,” which established the National Park Service.

1944
Paris liberated. On this day in 1944, some two months after the Allied invasion of Normandy, Paris was liberated from German occupiers as the Free French 2nd Armoured Division under General Jacques-Philippe Leclerc entered the city.

1945
John Birch, an American Baptist missionary and U.S. Army intelligence officer, was killed by Chinese communists, which later inspired the foundation of the John Birch Society—a private organization that considered Birch to be the first hero of the Cold War.

1990
UN Security Council authorizes military action against Iraq for invading Kuwait.

1991
Linux is born when Linus Torvalds sends an email announcing his project to create a new computer operating system.

2012
First Spacecraft to Enter Interstellar Space. NASA’s Voyager 1, which was launched on September 5, 1977, left the heliosphere — the part of space that is influenced by our Sun — on this day. In February 1990, the spacecraft took the first overview picture of the solar system. It is the most distant man-made object in space.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning, folks.

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high
Though my eyes could see, I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think, I still was a madman
I hear the voices when I'm dreaming

Now, carry on my wayward son. There will be peace, when you are done.

I got it shooting a pretty consistent sub 4" group at 200 yards. For a 22, that's enough to be competitive in our range competition. I'm simply not going to spend $0.60-0.70 cents a round for 22LR like half the guys are

Oh and I got one of the deer rifles sighted in

The day of the moon has arrived, exactly as the prophecy foretold.

Anyways, let’s get up and atom. Time to nuk’em til they glow and toast marshmallows over the embers.
