I hope he defers.. if what they say about the D is true, let them on the field first.
With that said, I didn’t agree with taking ball first in the past, but it is true our Offense was markedly better the the D in past years so I get the argument to take the ball first.

We deferred last year @ Carolina and got in a quick 0-17 hole. That kind of deficit won't cut it at Clemson. Unless BK is supremely confident of his D, it may be better to take.the.ball.

We also.scored at the end of the 2Q then took the ball in the 2H and marched down to their 1. 1 yard away from a perfect "middle 8"
Also wasn't exactly a quick 17-0 hole. It was 7-0 at the end of Q1
