The boomers seem to be the last generation of men that prop up women to their own detriment. And there's no greater disparity than how the justice system punishes men and women for the same crime. Women almost always receive lesser sentences if they are convicted at all. You've got vile women like Christa Pike on death row in TN. She bashed someone's skull open with a rock and carved them up with a knife. She should have been executed years ago but the boomer governor doesn't want to execute a woman it seems.

And of course this isn't limited to criminal matters. Boomer judges always favor women in divorce, child custody, etc.

Google AI gave a good summary.

Apparently most of them. I'm a millennial but was raised by someone from The Greatest generation and was around plenty from The Silent generation. They didn't act like the boomers do.

I hate to be the one who busts thy bubble, but here it goes.

A man, a father, a husband, a sibling, is responsible for the actions of their family under God's rules. (sibling) maybe and maybe not...

This has been the case for thousands of years.

Now, for a myriad of reasons, you want to see this thrown out?

God hates Liberals.

What the hell does that have to do with the legal system and holding women accountable for their actions?

Typical boomer. No self-awareness and calls someone a liberal just because you disagree with them. What liberal starts threads criticizing liberal mayors, wanting to stop giving weight to minority voices, wanting to end work visas for immigrants... Those are just a few of the recent threads I started. But go on and call me liberal...

I'm glad Trump has brought back the word retard because that's the only thing that can apply to you.

You're telling me you would throw the book at a drunk driver that plowed into your car killing your family if it was a man but give a pass or lesser sentence if the drunk driver is a woman?

There’s a reason lady justice is blindfolded. I didn’t think we had to go so far as to tell dipshits that she isn’t allowed to do a twig and berries check either. Every person is responsible for their own actions once they achieve adulthood and should be treated equally under the law.

Susan Smith killed her two babies, claimed a black man kidnapped them, and cried about them on television for days, all so she could be with the man she was having an affair with, because he didn't want children. On what planet is this her husband's responsibility?

Hell yes. Women have discarded those rules in the name of equality. Time for that equality to actually be enforced.

So you use anecdotal evidence to slander an entire generation of human beings? Youre a fricking idiot.

We have to hold an intellectually honest discussion to make progress: Capital crimes are capital crimes 2,000 years ago or today. Those are the same.

A 15-year-old boy fricking his high school teacher is not the same as a thirty-year-old man banging out one in his 13-year-old student.

We have it right, and this generation does not.

Lets go from here?

Yes, it is the same. Benevolent sexism makes you see one as more acceptable.

Edit...make the girl 15. I did not see the difference in age originally.

Nope, not happening anytime soon, and I'll tell you why.
Look in the mirror for your answer. Currently the Boomer population in the US is 19.67%. Millennial and Gen-Z both outnumber Boomers at 21.8% and 20.8%, respectively. So who is most likely in the judicial system making these decisions with Boomers being in retirement and outnumbered 4-1?
Answer: it ain't Boomers you need to be crabbing about. Now if you'll excuse me, Bonanza is about to start.

It's not anecdotal at all. Prior to Furman v Georgia, it was common for women to be hanged and quite a few took a seat in old sparky. Female execution tooka sharp drop from the 1980s onward.

anecdotal = not necessarily true or reliable, because based on personal accounts rather than facts or research.

this is a person account of your interactions with different generations, which was the basis for your opinion.

Benevolent Sexism refers to attitudes and beliefs that appear positive or well-intentioned towards women, but ultimately reinforce traditional gender roles and maintain male dominance.

So...the men win in the end?

I fail to see the problem.
