I like both bands but this should be a casino show not a Coast Coliseum show. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets cancelled to slow ticket sales.

I’m hoping that I can scoop up some cheap tickets last minute on the secondary market after I get paid the weekend before.

That's pretty crazy as both recently played the Coast casino circuit. I foresee having to curtain off a large portion of the venue.

Looking at ticketmaster you should be able to sit wherever you want

Judas Priest regularly headlines arenas. They had a good 7000 or so in Baton Rouge a few years ago.

I saw them at Hard Rock a few years ago. Alice Cooper just played Beau Rivage. Coast Coliseum will be a hard sell for them.

Your trippin’ .. JP is coming off their European tour where they sold out arenas with 10,000-13,000 seating capacity. The Biloxi Hard Rock Casino seats 1,500-2,000 people. I recently saw Alice Cooper in Lafayette and there were 1,500 tickets sold at the Heyman Center.
The AC/JP tickets are $45 and a bargain by todays ticket prices. It may not be a sell out since it’s on a Tuesday night, but I’m expecting close to 3/4 full (around 6,500-7000 in attendance) . Anytime you can see Alice Cooper AND Judas Priest for < $50 that’s a no brainer. I’m driving 3.5 hours from Lafayette and not even thinking twice. Setlist includes old school classics: You've Got Another Thing Comin', Freewheel Burning, Breaking the Law, The Hellion, Electric Eye, Hell Bent for Leather, Living After Midnight

Is Alice touring with the original Alice Cooper band?

They played The Mobile Civic center in 2023. Same size as Coast Coliseum 10200 capacity. 4800 showed up. They won't get that here.

Glen Buxton died in 1997. Nita Strauss has been playing lead guitar for AC since 2014. She is a member of the Iron Maiden’s and married her manager who is from NOLA.

They won't sell out but it will be a good attendance with this lineup. Priest keeps playing Biloxi over New Orleans so they must be drawing well there.
Google AI gives me this for the Judas Priest/Deep Purple show in Biloxi
Priest/Alice Cooper/COC is a much better lineup too.

Yea, I know he died. I actually met him years ago in Wisconsin.
I asked because the remaining band just reunited for his/their last album. ...The Revenge of Alice Cooper.

Still a great show. Saw them thursday night in Chattanooga. Would like to hear more about you meeting Glen Buxton.

Was never a fan of Judas Priest and would often joke with friends who were into them. I went to see them in Mobile in 2024 and came away really impressed. They were excellent live. I'll probably go to this show coming up as well.

Not too much to it. It was in either 89 or 90 at a club called The Brat Stop just on the Illinois/Wisconsin border. A buddy of mine was a photographer for a newspaper in a town called Sycamore. He was assigned a job at the club to photograph The Bodeans and some other shi//y group and I went with him (it was free) G.B. was there, just checking it out with a girl who I believe was his girlfriend.
I remember I smoked at the time and ashed my cigarette in the ash tray that he was also using. I made small talk ("sorry to intrude"...yada yada yada...) and I realized that he looked familiar. He ended up introducing himself, and I said something dumb like "oh I thought that was you". I really didn't. I was kind of thinking to myself "I know this guy from somewhere" His hair was really short at the time.
Actually a few years prior to that I got to meet Alice in a furniture store in Chicago. I ended up talking with him for a bit. Very nice guy. So was Glen. ...based on the little we spoke. Alice lived in a high rise in Chicago called Lake Point Towers.

Alice Cooper is the dumbest* Rock Star ever. He knew 50 years ago to put on makeup so that when he became a old geezer no one could tell the difference.
* Actually, he is one on the smartest Rock Stars ever.

Alice and his guitar player Tommy Hendrekson played golf at Money Hill a couple months ago and was very kind and generous to all the staff.

Alice is one of the best celebrity golfers. I’ve heard he plays a round in whatever city he is in on the day of the show if the weather is good.
If this show was playing Dallas I would go & it is shockingly not. This tour is playing Austin & Houston but not Dallas. Go see this show if you are in the area
