Some funny comments about what they think about our team.
When looking at the obvious growth of the Broncos over the past 3 years, and the deep fall of the Saints since the departure of Payton, it seems clear to me that Loomis was just riding on Brees & Payton’s coattails all these years.
Loomis is cooked. All those years up against the cap squeezed his brains out.
Man I think the saints are going to get the number one pick next year.
Pick 101 baby!
This is the equivalent of a 3rd round compensatory pick, something I can’t ever remember the Broncos getting. Just absurd that this was able to happen.
Sean Payton still running the Saints
i would understand a little more if he were the age of a normal 2nd year player, but he's going to turn 28 in about 3 months. to top it off, the Saints have no shot of competing really any time soon. so why did they do this?? what a gift
You are correct sir -- and they have the worst QB situation in the league. There's real chance that could be the first pick on day 3 of the 2026 draft, which is amazing value for Vele.
Didn’t see much negative about the player other than whats been said, he’s already old and somewhat injury prone. But most think he was a solid player for them.

Well, yea...Saints have a shite owner and a GM who would have been fired by every other NFL owner.
Really just hoping Kellen Moore can rise above it like Payton did.

You guys seem to know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Doom and gloom is all to be had. For fricks sake let the season begin. Fans see a direction while fair weather fans see only the foot in front of them.

Homers see a direction and realists don't
I've got no issue with rebuilding, but we repeatedly have been trying to kick the can down the road. At first, that was good enough for 8-10 wins. Now it's good enough for 2-4 wins, all while we throw draft picks down the toilet and sacrifice franchise QB positioning in next year's draft, in an effort to prop up Rattler and Shough, who both arguably shouldn't even be in the league.

Loomis is a bit like my wife, seen little value in what he has and over values what he wants/needs.
