With trading future pics and out loaded team, Is loomis Lommising right now before our eyes for another SB run franchise?

Look at our loaded team:

QB's: Rookie (injury waiting to happen), garbage #1, garbage #2

RB's: Shell of Kamara, ,

WR's: We have any?

Can we get a Saints Talk Premium Board or something? I’d pay a few dollars a month not to have to deal with these terrible posts all season.

Like who? Name one poster who thinks we're going to be contenders.

The Saints have never believed in rebuilding. Anyone that has listened to the front office talk or seen the moves we made would know that they simply don't believe in bottoming out. Carr retiring forced them to go young, but they do not see this year as a rebuilding year.

Some dude on the Pels board had some super secret invite only board that at the time seemed radicicolous to me, but I get it now. This place has become insufferable.

Our new coach didn't come here to tank. He's going to do his best to be respectable. Loomis probably gave him assurances that he would help.

I like the WR add.

Wouldn't you just need to ask if this WR is worth a 4 and a 7? Technically, the question would be is he worth a little less than a 4 and a 7 since future picks are valued at less than face value. If he is, great, if not, not great.

You cant trade a future pick for appropriate value if you are "rebuilding"? I don't get it. It's like Loomis PTSD

It’s a 4th round pick. Cost is reasonable.

But yes. This was much more if a how can we help this team vs. how do we build for the future.

I’m not convinced that this front office understands the concept of leading the QB so to speak.

I mean, you do get it. It’s not a hard concept.

Just like some wouldn’t want to go spend a lot of money on a qb and negatively impact future years negatively…just so we can win 6-8 games, some don’t want to invest draft capital for a player who doesn’t have a long shelf life and whose value, if any, would be during the rebuilding phase.

The argument is in the details. If they really like this player and think he is a long term piece then it might make sense.

The posters who got happy to win 3 worthless games that took us out a top 3 pick and picking 9th. I'd prefer to have had a top 3 pick. The same posters who are justifying trading a 4th and 7th for a soon to be 28 year old receiver with knee issues. We need to stock up on draft picks, not give them away.

Loomis is in… Save His Job Mode.

Loomis is NOT in Save His Azz Mode because Payton already Azz -Raped him for a 4th Rd Pick !!!

If we are rebuilding, we dont have a big wr on the list? Seems like one of the major needs to rebuild the team. If the value fits, great. Rebuilding doesnt necessarily mean tanking for 5 years to a decade, I definitely dont want to sign up for that.
