A few quickies from West Texas/Arizona. Will do a full post of the snakes at the end of the trip - some real beauties this trip.

Yeah the Sonoran coral is the red touch yellow baddie, but the Mountain king has the red touch black. Both are two of the prettiest snakes I’ve ever caught!

My guy , if you look back from your earlier post till now , you keep letting them rattlers get closer and closer . Don’t get snipped because I absolutely love looking forward to all of your post and I’d hate for them to stop suddenly.

I’m retired with a broke back , but if I didn’t have two kids under the age of 5 I would be begging to tag along to catch them all . I’ve always been fascinated with snakes and was taught at a very young age to catch them but respect them at the same time lol . At this point in my life the biscuit is not worth the risk unfortunately. But I have mad respect for him !

You would have loved my wife’s uncle Bob. He had all kinds of venomous stakes he kept for getting venom. He had some pretty serious shite apparently.

The rattlesnakes where you are grabbing the last third of their tail is insane. Not even the end of the tail.
