Lindsay, Ontario man charged with assault for protecting property,life

So in short.
Man breaks into another man’s apartment with weapon. Guy living in apartment wakes up to the break in and beats the shite out of the intruder. Guy living in apartment gets charged with assault for his troubles.

Countries like UK and Canada have laws that it’s basically “attempt to escape” before you’re able to defend yourself. It’s bullshite.

Canada is full of stupid laws. My family happens to be from Lindsay. I had a great uncle who landed in prison for getting in a motor vehicle accident with liquor in his trunk. He was not drunk and didn’t have access to the liquor but the bottle broke so he went to prison for a decade.
