Some of y'all might care, some might not. If you don't care, feel free to skip this thread Coach O will be on PMT tomorrow. Should at least be an entertaining interview if you are into that.

Coach O was always recruituing and knew the value of guys like PMT and Big Cat. They were all on the LSU train with Ed O.

Everyone hates on Ed, but he was the perfect hire for the timing after Les Miles. Probably not ever going to be here for 20 years, but perfect for the window we had him. And I think his window would have been longer if not for Covid in 2020.

It wasn't Covid, he stopped Recruiting and Hiring Good Coaches.
He became self absorbed, went on the Ed Orgeron TV tour, meanwhile in Tuscaloosa Saban was Recruiting and Coaching.
LSU should've bought him out much earlier, but Hindsight is 2020

WRONG. it was a combo of:

COVID, opt outs, no spring practice, and wait for it..........BLM

remember when players admitted quitting on pellini? It was in a SI article. but we saw it with our own 2 eyes anyway.

All the "Luzianner Lifer" Orgeron Sycophants are all sexually excited now.

How exactly? He won it all in 2020, then had a bad season during COVID in 2020. Followed by being bought out in 2021… when would we have done that prior?

Coach O was an elite recruiter. We always had Top 5 classes with him. BK is not as good as O. BK averages like a 7th ranked class.

Exactly, and the self absorbed didn’t stop at wanting attention. He went from a guy who lets his coaches coach and just handles what he’s good at, to thinking he was Sean Mcvay and had all the answers

I live coach O. If not for a string of badluck he would still be here.

Loses both coordinators
Loses qb
Loses wife
Loses team for not walking protest with help from clark
There were other things

But he did change the offense to compete and he did win a natty

This narrative is so tired. Y’all act like Covid only impacted Baton Rouge. Everyone had to deal with it and Orgeron did a poor job

Well that explains how we had <40 scholarship players at one point

Losing both coordinators and the GOAT #9 proves that LSU won in spite of Orgeron.
