Almost time to enjoy Samstag spieltage, so let's get this thread started ahead of this weekend's DFB Supercup...

You can't start the season with two more fun fixtures than St. Pauli who face BVB and Hamburg to open the Hinrunde. HSV will be restarting the B'liga clock but will it continue ticking past this season?

Stuttgart held tight to attacker Nick Woltemade thanks to holding tight to a steep transfer fee, so Stuttgart, Frankfurt and an Alonso-less Leverkusen will hope to seize the early league lead with Bayern banged up to start the season...but after a dip last year I think BVB will again have the best shot to swipe the Meisterschale from Bavaria.

We'll get it started with die Vorspeise in the land of Porsche's & Benz's this weekend...Prost!

St. Pauli v Hamburg will be fun.

Hope BVB is competitive.

1. FC Köln In the bundesliga is always a good thing.

Now we just need 1. FC Kaiserslautern and FC Schalke 04 back up

I took one of our kids to an intro soccer class today and it was at the venue that Dortmund hosts their academy at. Pretty wild, but I guess it makes sense with the Gio north Texas connection.

Not necessarily Bundesliga, but Die Mannschaft have been straight arse against Slovakia tonight. Lucky to only be down 1-0. Collins getting abused at RB and the two big EPL signings not doing enough up front.

Since the 2014 WC, it's remarkable how much the national team has underachieved...they bounced back with a win but I don't have any confidence in this squad for 2026 at this point.

I remember thinking the Ballack era of German soccer was bad.

They have been so much worse now.

I keep telling myself.

Atleast they qualify for the World Cup. Unlike Italy.

retards could’ve gone to the corner and killed it off. on the road against a continental giant. but no, we have to throw 6 players into the box for no real purpose and then act shocked when they counter and put the ball in the net

i’m so tired of people pretending this “mentality” problem isn’t club wide and hasn’t existed for damn near a decade now. just tired of it
