Haven't looked at the list yet, but I have recent pics of the two players from the Lafayette area: Westgate's Cayden Lancelin and Abbeville's Jacolby Campbell.

Lancelin no. 1 player in state No. 2 athlete.

I couldn’t tell you the last name I remember from Abbeville who was an SEC caliber player.

What’s crazy is they’re all related: Anthony is cousins with Brandon and Jason who are brothers. Brandon won a SB with the Patriots, Anthony won 2 SB’s with the Ravens. Those kids made Abbeville Proud !

Had no idea the Mitchell’s were from Abbeville. I remember Brandon much more than Jason. Anthony Levine played in the SEC?

Anthony grew up and was raised in Abbeville . His family moved to NC when he was a FR in HS. He played CFB at Tenn St. And was undrafted. . Anthony was a 0 star prospect coming out of HS , worked his arse off and played 12 yrs in the League

First, I apologize for starting a thread that lacked necessary info. I was hoping Captain Crown or somebody would post the link for me. I've been very busy with football approaching, and I'm no spring chicken. I was beat down yesterday.

I was a young man beginning to freelance again who covered St. Martinville with Early Doucet in the playoffs vs. Brent-Indest coached (I think) Abbeville with two huge linebackers. One was Mitchell, a Tenn. signee. The other ILB was even bigger. Last name was Wiltz. I think he went juco.

Here's the in-state list below. Lancelin No. 1 in La., No. 2 Athlete, No. 63 player. I took that 247 profile pic after Westgate hoops beat Lafayette Renaissance in the St. Thomas More Sunkist Shootout, by the way.

Followed by Calvin Ursin, Jacolby Campbell and Chance Archangel (also of Westgate) in the top 101
