Something I didn;t know, but ESPN spells is out!

I now understand the love for Clemson and why they are so highly rated!
I did not know Clemson returns over 80% of its offensive production from last year. This was all over ESPN last niight!
OK, in addition, they now have many 1st rounders.
But, I also realize they play in the ACC which will inflate any numbers.
So, it will be a hard game for LSU to win, at Clemson at night....but one that is winnable with our talent.
Hopeful that Nuss and the team really focus to bring this one home.
But, playing at Clemson at night woudl be a tough challenge!
For the record, I think LSU if they were in the ACC could run the table for ACC play..Just one man's humble opinion

Clemson has this circled as their NC game...Yet, LSU faces this challenge every week in the ACC.
So, Clemson will be very up for this game and has the talent. But, if they were in the SEC, they would face this challenge 8 times a year.
All I am saying is Clemson can circel this game and win, and then close their eyes for the rest of the season and coast to the playoffs!!

Despite being in the ACC or not, Clemson’s talent is among the best in the country. Don’t get it twisted. They don’t represent the rest of the ACC, they will be head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. Make no mistake, this will be one of our toughest games of the year. They have a legit roster this year, especially at DL, WR, and QB just like us. The X-factor will be whose offensive line can create some holes for the run game.

They have 4 or 5 good players. We have 20 or more. Go Google their blue chip ratio. They have no rotation.

QB: 5 star, 1st rd projection
WR: Moore: 5 star, Wesco: .97 composite, Williams: .97 composite, Brown: best WR in 2023.
LB: Sammy brown, 5 star best LB recruit in country in 2024.
CB: Terrell 1st rd projection
DL: 3 projected 1st rounder + 5 star Burel in 2024.
They are pretty loaded. Just because they’re in the ACC doesn’t mean they are lacking with talent. Blue chip ratio isn’t very accurate with the amount on influx of players not having any impact on that %

But Clemson is still a strong team and we haven't won an opener in 5 years. So don't underestimate them like we did with Florida State twice, USC, Piss State.

You do realize LSU has lost twice to an acc team and once to a big team to open the season in the last 3 correct and arguably none of them were as talented as this Clemson team. So let’s not act like an ACC squad beating LSU is some sort of feat that’s hardly attainable.

This is probably the toughest game on each teams schedule. If Clemson wins, they cake walk through the ACC and are likely undefeated or one loss ACC champ. If LSU wins, they still have 6 top 25 teams (as of now) left on their schedule. It's not likely that they win all of them. These days there are no teams that don't have any flaws. I think this game hinges on LSUs defense. If it's truly back to LSU standards, we're probably celebrating. If not, it's another season starting out 0-1.

LSU’s total defense = 61
Pass defense= 76
Rush defense= 51
We have been hearing since 2021… the defense will be much better.
If Clemson marches down the field on their opening drive and has a 75 yard drive for a touchdown then it’s the same song and dance again.
