Do you need a professional to hook it up? As long as you don't cross thread and check the seal with soapy water.

Make sure not to use Teflon on the flared brass fittings.

Don't over-tighten those flared fittings, no thread sealant or tape needed except on the pipe threaded connections and then just make sure it's gas rated sealant.

If you buy a newer gas appliance hookup kit, it will come with everything you need, soap included.

Get a plumber, it’s an insurance policy. If something happens, the insurance company asks, did you use a licensed plumber? Keep the receipt. But that’s me.
