SIG 320 going live fire with exterior input

SIG and it’s NH Yankee self can pay out millions and go away. Never should have been accepted by DoD and DHS.

The Airman made the story up because he shot his buddy on accident. He has been arrested. That video is 2 weeks old.

Personally,
I really like Sig.
Have a 226 Legion and a 226 Blackwater issued gun.
Superb firearms.
Have 2 1911s. Also superb.
And a tricked out Sig MPX that I compete with.
All run flawlessly and safely.
If they have a defective gun. It will be addressed. But, we n today’s blame game social medial feeding frenzy combined with a super litigious society, a gun maker is behind the 8 ball when they start.
We can’t afford to have a great gunmaker to be pileried and lost to us without due process.

Damn how has no one made this a title. Going to be quite a bit of egg on faces over this if the new details hold up

The AF incident is NOT the only discharge issue across the country. It’s a big issue and why many agencies prohibit 320s and/or all SIGs.

Hopefully not. They need to buy back or retrofit all affected P320s, but they have been an innovative company (P365) and have made some very reliable and high quality DA/SA pieces (P22X family) and make some really cool 1911s and long guns.

P320 has massive issues and I would not buy it.

My X-Macro 365 is awesome and I love it. Sig is being annoying as shite about the 320 when, again, it has obvious issues but they do have good guns.

I don’t own any Sig polymer guns, but have several of their all-metal guns. They all are exceptional and almost never jam

SIG metal frame guns are great. IMO, They started screwing up about 10 years ago when they started making polymer framed pistols, then red dot optics.

The AF incident didn't have anything to do with a P320 going off on its own. The airman was fricking around and shot and killed his buddy. He made up the story to cover his arse.
