Jimbo to UAB after Dilfer makes too much sense.

Gruden to Arkansas.

Maybe flip those. The one that's actually done something worthwhile in the last 20 years getting the shittier job would be dumb.

Jimbo got exposed at aTm and outside of Jameis, what is there? Makes much more sense for him to win at a G5 then work his way back up.

And Gruden hasn't done anything in coaching in the lifetime of active college players.

I agree but there’s a hype that comes with him. See UNC.

Belichick has won 5 Superbowls since Gruden did. He's not like Belichick. There's also the other stuff that comes with Gruden that's worse than a young girlfriend.

He pissed off the NFL and they targeted him. He’ll never see the NFL again but he’ll end up in college football.

He's been angling for a coaching job for multiple offseasons and getting no looks. The stink on him isn't just on the NFL level.

If Florida State is willing to go Gruden, they might as well bring Deion home.

Why, because fans like him? That don’t help once the ball is on the tee

Gruden could unlock a lot of NIL $$ at Arkansas... A lot, that is just stagnant and not wanting to invest in a dead arse coach.

Jon would essentially be Calipari 2.0.

Would he win? Who knows. His track record as a coach is not good outside of Dungy's Tampa roster.

He would definqtly be able to tune the program into a media roadshow. That's for sure. And it needs it in the worse way.

Gruden is talking out his arse. There's zero chance he'll coach CFB and who could blame him.Why would you want to get involved with the clusterfrick of what CFB has become with NIL and the transfer portal?

I do believe Jimbo wants another crack at it.He seems
somewhat bitter about his firing and wants a chance at redemption.

His original Raiders were pretty good

He didn’t deliver much in Tampa after the SB but in fairness he had pretty mediocre personnel throughout. Brad Johnson, Chris Simms, Brian Griese, and an old Jeff Garcia were what he had to work with at QB. They weren’t particularly talented at the skill positions either

His second stint with the Raiders was trending in the right direction and they made the playoffs the year he was fired (then they went back to sucking again)

The W/L record isn’t overwhelming but neither was what he had to work with

Gruden was supposed to be a QB guru.

The defense he inherited with at least 4 HOFers was something.
