Michael Jordan’s 82’ Bayliss sportfishing yacht Catch 23 just weighed in a 71-pound White Marlin, vaulting the crew into second place at the 2025 White Marlin Open. If the fish holds its spot, it could reel in over $400,000 in prize money.

That's as clever as I think I am.

I think its pretty clever as it's a play off of the novel "Catch 22"

The captain just casually docked an 82' boat in a 85' slip.

Funny watching a millionaire make excuses for buying a cheap production boat.

Does anyone here really have to worry about owning an $8 million dollar boat?

If so, can we be friends?

Hell, if someone gave me one I could only afford to fill it up a couple times a year. It has a 3,100 gallon fuel tank. I sure couldn’t afford the annual upkeep.

It was a joke playing on a comment in a reel by the owner of Harvey marine I saw. He’s cruising in his 80ft Viking and makes a claim that the Viking 82 is far superior to a custom boat.
As for the cost supposedly Jordan’s boat is 12-15mil and if you assume 10-15% of cost to maintain a boat annually a safe assumption is most people can’t afford the upkeep.

Very few can afford the service on those mans much less a full time captain and mate. Mr Viking can probably afford a bayliss but would bayliss build him one??

I was just in Maine last week and was walking around the harbor and came across these two boats. Can you imagine the money you would have to have to not only have the big boat but to also bring along the small boat to run around in? Crazy.
