4th worst team in baseball loses like 4th worst team in baseball does.
They got 2 hits… again.
This franchise is completely broken and aunt-flopolis did this.

White Sox are down 4 in the 9th so we won't pick up any ground on them lottery chance wise.

It would be nice to see Sale throw well to end this season and have a normal offseason. He has stated in the past how crucial that is for him.

Waldrep is cruising today. Looks good. That splitter is filthy and it looks like he can make it move in either direction.

Do you like Baldwin in the DH? I don’t think Murphy is that good of a catcher.

Yes. He’s a grown arse man. Don’t care where but he needs to be in the lineup nightly.

frick it, I'm in on 2026.

Schwelly and Sale at the top 2 and then some order of Lopez, Strider, Waldrep to round it out.

World Series incoming.

Too early for an offseason thread. But planning on the offseason is all we have at this point.
Record revenue with the luxury tax penalty being reset. $50 million coming off the books.
Be nice to spend about $100 million this offseason. Pitching, both starters and pen, and shortstop are necessities. I would have Murphy/Baldwin stick at catcher/DH though I know some of you disagree. That saves a lot of money.
Haven’t really looked at the free agents this year.
Will also be nice to have some high draft picks and an extra pick for Baldwin getting ROY.

I think AA is going to look to bring in a big time starter and a big time bat, one via free agency and one via trade. I also think he'll take a 1-2 year flier on someone like Dustin May.

I would love to know what they think of Riley internally. After these last two seasons, I have some questions about his bat going forward. Getting his bat fixed has to be priority #1 this offseason.

Think this gets offset by the raises some of the guys are going to get.

Love Baldwin. He looks like a 10 year veteran with the bat.

At this point, Waldrep needs to replace Elder in the rotation.

And Ritchie waiting in the wings for a call up. Our starting pitching could definitely be really solid if we can get decent injury luck. Just need to fix the offense and put together a decent bullpen this off-season.

Waldrep looked absolutely filthy today.

Elder is just so hard to watch most of the time because he can’t strike anyone out. Another thing I’ll say about today’s game and really ever since the end of the AS break is Harris looks like a completely different player. If this is who he can be moving forward that’s extremely good news

Why is this thread anchored?

If ozuna can play like this or at least near this level I wonder if he’d come back on an extremely team friendly deal? It’s likely not worth it either way because his inability to play the field at all whatsoever really kills our versatility
