Disney settled with Gina Carano

I’m generally anti-girl power shows but I’d watch her in another Star Wars show.

They fired her because Pascal’s brother is a biological male (almost certainly gay) with a mental illness who thinks he is female and he is in almost everything now so when she criticized the pronoun nonsense she was pushed aside.

I’m disappointed she settled.

I’d like to settle with her…

Maybe so but I saw an article that said that a Disney friendly judge had recently ruled she could have access to more internal emails. Disney was dragging it out and hoping the friendly judge would bail them out. Either way I hope she is happy with the settlement.

Your understanding of litigation is cute. Just chant "discovery" and lawsuits disappear. Kinda like a reverse Beetlejuice.

Discovery in this case has been ongoing for a year. In all likelihood, as in EVERY OTHER LAWSUIT, it is the RESULTS of that discovery which (in part) brought about a settlement. We don't know WHICH WAY that discovery influenced the settlement, because its terms are (and will certainly remain) confidential.
